Starting Places
A couple of years ago when I spent a lot of time MUSH'ing I had a lot of friends with live journals. As sometimes happens, life drug me away from my keyboard for awhile and I lost track of most of those people. About a year ago I tracked down a couple of them and have been sporadically catching up on their lives via their journal entries and on ICQ when I'm lucky enough to catch them on.
A friend at work has encouraged, poked, prodded, arm twisted, etc. :) Until I've finally created a journal myself. I haven't kept any sort of personal journal since I was in the sixth grade and caught my little brother and sister reading mine. I have kept character journals for games I've played in. We'll see how it goes. I make no promises for daily updates, but it should prove to be an interesting challenge.
Plus it fits in with one of this year's New Year's Resolutions. Which was to be more open.
