Fandom: Papa to Musume no Nanokakan (aka Seven Days of a Daddy and a Daughter)
Title: Sweet Plan of Youth
Summary: Koume/Kenta, Koume feels a lack in their relationship.

Koume had been going out with Kenta-senpai for a while. They went places together and talked about things. They held hands, the cool metal of his rings growing warm between her fingers. She sometimes made him food, whenever her cooking didn't go terribly. It was all going very nicely. The only problem was that they hadn't kissed.

She couldn't figure out why. Koume really wanted Kenta-senpai to kiss her. She'd been trying to send out 'please kiss me' signals for such a long time.

Well, sure, sometimes it seemed like Kenta-senpai was going to kiss her and then papa would pop up out of nowhere. Kenta-senpai said he didn't mind that they ended up spending so much time with her father because he liked to talk to him but Koume minded. Sometimes she thought papa was doing it on purpose.

Even when they were alone Kenta-senpai wouldn't kiss her. He kept turning away whenever she got close to him, like he was afraid she had a disease. Koume didn't know what was going wrong but she was determined to change it.

First Koume started by sending Kenta-senpai a message, asking if he'd like to meet her. His reply message was so cute! They were going to have so much fun!

They met in the park on Saturday morning. He looked really cute. Koume really loved the way his shirt hung on him and his smile was totally dreamy. He really liked the sandwiches she'd packed, too.

They walked and talked for ages. He told her all about getting ready for university and she talked about Ritsuko's latest misadventures. When they found sat down the sun was warm and bright through the trees. She moved her hand over his and he flipped their hands over and slipped his fingers through hers. Things were going so well that she couldn't help but smile.

After that he took her to the aquarium. The turtles looked really adorable and the coral was really pretty. With the blue green lights hitting off his hair and their fingers intertwined it felt really romantic. Koume was pleased; surely he'd try to kiss her at the end of this date.

He even held her hand on the train and as they walked all the way to her house. Koume felt like blushing, knowing so many people could see them.

As they reached her door the sun was setting, the sky pink, purple and orange behind them.

"I had a lot of fun," he said as he turned toward her.

"So did I, Kenta-senpai," Koume said, feeling hopeful.

She felt like this had to be it, this had to be the moment when he finally kissed her. The setting was so perfect and their date had been so nice that surely he had to want to do it right then.

"Well, I guess I'll see you soon," he said and started to turn away.

"No!" she yelled out, not realising how loud she was until he turned back to her, wide eyed. "Wait, Kenta-senpai. Don't leave yet."

It would just be wrong if after all this work he left without kissing her. She started to wonder if he even wanted to.

"Don't you want to kiss me?" she asked.

He blushed and ducked his head. "I don't want to go too fast."

"But I'm ready!" she objected.

He didn't seem to be moving so she leaned in and kissed him. She felt shocked at herself. Oh no, she thought, what if he doesn't like girls being so forward? When he pressed closer to her and moved his hand to her hair her worries disippated, going away on the cool night breeze. Kissing felt really nice.

Koume felt a little lightheaded when they finally pulled apart.

Even after he was long out of her sight she felt really happy. She couldn't wait to kiss him again. She just hoped papa hadn't seen them.
