(no subject)
Yeah okay, I havn't updated in like, 3 months...SH! and I probably won't update much after this, but I wanna share the most AMAZING thing on earth! Barkley Sound was soo...freaking...awesome! there are no words to describe...no matter how much I try to define how fantastically awesome it was, nothing will do it justice...but I'll try.
Being in Barkley Sound taught me so many things. It made me really realize how much I hate the city and how beautiful the world around us is. I have a new appreciation for the stars, they're the most beautiful thing on this earth (besides Mike of course XP). If everyone took just 5 seconds to appreciate a small piece of nature, or think about the smallest, most basic thing in a unique or different way, the world would be a better place. I learned that a miracle isn't a drastic event that happens at "the most crucial moment", miracles are the small things that happen everywhere around us, like a flower growing, or a shooting star; the small things that if we just stopped and admired them, it would lift our mood, and give us hope when we feel we've lost it. There's so much more to life than meets the eye, and I knew this kind of thing before, but you never FULLY understand what a statement like that means until you experience it first hand. Even when things seem they're complete worst, like nothings going to get better, something good always comes of it...ALWAYS! it may be hard to find...but theres always that silver lining, just look for it. I learned that when I'm in a bad mood, I have to stop and think, am I hurting others without realizing it?
If I had more time, I'd give you mroe food for thought, however, I must go and get ready for my driving lesson, I'll be back with more
