I got a 25% off coupon in my e-mail for one item at a Chapters store, to "treat myself and my sweet love to savings." I went there after work today and bought Plague of Spells by Bruce Cordell, a Wizards of the Coast Forgotten Realms fantasy novel. Kind of the exact opposite of the intention of the sale, but it was a good deal. I already have a few books to read from Christmas, but they're mostly science fiction and I want to read something different. Although I am half-done with Neal Stephenson's Anathem, which is fantastic.
Now I'm listening to last.fm suicide radio and eating a microwaveable dinner. Fun.
On the way home I found this painting of mushrooms on the side of the road. It must have fallen there recently because it wasn't wet or muddy. It must've blown off of someone's trailer or something. Not sure what kind of mushroom it is, though. It doesn't look like psilocybin.
