Gah, talk about arm twisting, Tari...

1) Total volume of music files on my computer? Right now, about 100. I know, pretty small, but I can listen to one song dozens of times before I get tired of it.

2) The last CD I bought was? Wow, haven't actually bought a CD in about 6 months, so no idea.

3a) The last song I listened to before writing this was? "For Good" from the musical Wicked. Just really in the mood for it with graduation coming up soon and everything. Not that I'm complaining about leaving high school behind, though.

3b) Song playing right now? "New York State of Mind" by Billy Joel. Just got back from visiting Vassar, and I might be leaning that way for next year, that or BC.

4) Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me?
--"The Prayer of the Children" by some a cappella group. It just helps keep things in perspective when I'm depressed or pissed off at the world.
--"Rhapsody in Blue" by Gershwin. Exquisite song, brilliant composition.
--"In Rememberance" by someone I forget. A little known contemporary choral piece based loosely on Psalm 22. (That's the "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" psalm quoted by Jesus on the cross, for those of you not up on your Bible trivia.)
--"Do, a Deer" from The Sound of Music. The first song I ever learned.
--"Defying Gravity," also from Wicked. Just an overall good song, especially from my current point of view since it fits in with my anticipation of escaping high school.

5) Which five people are you passing this baton to, and why?
Jen - because I hardly get to see her anymore, and that will become even less often when she moves to KANSAS.
Katie - for the heck of it. ;-D
Josh - cause you've got tastes in music almost opposite to mine, so I have no idea what your answers are.
Ed Ahern - cause he hasn't updated his LJ in about 8 months, and I doubt he ever will again. (Odd reason? Yeah, I know...)
Bethany - because I need a fifth person, even though I really know all your music tastes already.
