merry christmas to everyone who celebrates it.

I've started avoiding certain "hangouts" in the East Cobb area just because I'm tired. Tired of meeting people that I don't really care about (which, by the way, is not you):
OH MY GOD, YAEL! I haven't seen you in like, ages! Oh, you don't LOVE UGA? Why? Roommate?
UGH. I guess I'm just impatient. There are quite a few people I miss seeing every week (you know who you are), and I LOVE meeting those people and answering their questions. It's just those annoying people who will swallow whatever you're saying, forget the answers, and pretend like everything is wonderful. I rarely get on any messenger service of any type, because I hate talking to people I don't care one bit about. Lots of people ask my why I'm never on AIM, and the honest answer is, I only want to talk to a few people, not 64 or something at once.

Currently, I'm reading Anna Karenina , which I'm enjoying immensely. I checked out quite a few books from the library, and I'm enjoying reading-for-pleasure. By the way, I picked up White Oleander in the library, and finished it quickly. It's a bit too "trying to be pretentious" and sappy for my taste--but, if you generally like "inspirationally dark" books, try it. It's not that bad.

I know this entry is really lame.

I saw A Very Long Engagement yesterday with Sara and Ben. It's good. You should see it.

I've decided to write a book. We'll see how that goes.

Laura Ann: I recieved your Christmas/Holiday card two days ago, and I was sooo happy! 1. I love Wallace and Gromit (sp?) and 2. Let's do the Mall of GA or another Mall next week, before school starts for you again, but after HOLIDAY CRAZINESS is over.

Goals for the break:
1. Finish several Hebrew exercises.
2. Read the rest of my books.
3. Finish application to BGU, and get recommedation forms out.

I have a gift certificate to Media Play and I don't know what to get. Any suggestions? I'm thinking a copy of Napoleon Dynamite.
