I had a delightful tea with some of my former colleagues today. It certainly looks as if my calculations are spot on this time, although I can't say that I'm happy with what I've learned. One of them even suggested that, with the accuracy of my latest chart, I could try talking my way back in - goodness knows how I did that the first time, at any rate. I told him, though, that as long as my seventh years were doing as terribly as they were, I'd be obligated to stay and make sure that at least a quarter of the class pass the NEWTs.

Although, if they are intent on not revising at all, I suppose I should just try to take up my old job again. Of course, I've already said that I wouldn't, so I can only hope that you lot are going to start taking things seriously. You only have about four months before the exam, and I'll only be taking the last month and a half to review all of the material in the past few years, after all.
