Budget austerity
A large part of wintering in this particular spot is conserving cash, but between totalling my car and my recent spending spree, I definitely need to buckle down. My Achilles heel has mostly been clothes. The good news is that apart from some bad decisions regarding the rental car, I’ve made mostly good choices. Among these were badly needed rain boots and sit / stand desk and comfy clothes for working at home. I’ve been keeping closer tabs on my banking and I’ve been logging and classifying all of my costs in Excel so that I’m at least aware of my outgo and have a matrix for budgeting. But there’s this gorgeous boho dress on Modlily …. Sigh. I’ve managed to resist the temptation thus far. But then again the internet is down…
