Toasted modem
Argh. Just argh. This past Sunday a thunderstorm knocked out our power, which may have toasted our internet connection. Gary checked all the cables, but even though our internet is bundled with our landline and cable TV, both of which are still working, we’re still unable to get online. I walked through a troubleshoot with Time Warner over the phone and they re-set it remotely, but it didn’t work. So tonight I’ll try another walkthrough when Gary’s home in case I missed something. Fingers crossed. (Grrrr)
