Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you all. I love you guys! 2007 had some excellent moments, but for the most part it can bite my shiny metal ass.
We rang in 2008 with an incredible potluck at
lauramander and
morphis' place, including tons of food, a keg of Carolina Pale, chocolate fondue, Guatemalan Marching Chili, an army of DJs, lasers, and the annual Blowing of Stuff Up in the Backyard, with an awesome crowd. We missed a couple other great parties, and more great friends, who were in our thoughts at midnight.
In the face of a huge pile of fabulous food I managed to keep my plate down to a sane amount, and drinking consisted of switching back and forth between Carolina Pale Ale and diet cranberry juice with a small glass of champagne at midnight, so no hangover for me.
