YARD SALE!
I was trying to finish color coordinating my closet.... when I realized... I wear 20% of my clothes 80% of the time. So my color coordination mission quickly turned into a get rid of all this junk mission. I ended up with two big bags of stuff I didn’t want/like/wear anymore.
Eileen had one big bag of stuff too..... sooo we headed to buffalo exchange. Which by the way is not on buffalo. Turns out they’re really picky and won’t take just anything. They took like three of my dresses, and like three shirts, two bags, some vests, and a hideous 80s tank with triangles on it that I never even wore. They loved Eileen’s gold rebox and cute purple flapper hat.
So I got like 40 something bucks in store credit but I couldn't find anything I really liked that much.... I got a shirt with a king cat on it, and some cool shades.... since my urban shades BROKE A DAY AFTER I GOT THEM! I really wanted this ty-dye dress, with a bow front and back V neck type thing... navy blue and white..... But it was really simple and like 22 bucks.... I think I can make that so.... I passed.
We still have a lot of clothes that they didn’t take. I thought for sure they would take my American rag flannel skirt.... but they didn't. So with all our left overs.... what was not cool enough for buffalo, we're going to have a garage sale in my garage. Not just a regular garage sale a good one! And I think im going to make cookies and lemonade too.... because Eileen says there should always be refreshments at an event like that.
