i got home from new york sunday! it was so much fun <3 our flight there went by quickly considering i did catalog shopping the entire time. when we arrived it was only about noon, so we still had a whole day ahead of us.

tuesday
we arrived at the marriot eastside and our room wasn't going to be ready until 3 pm. we took advantage of that and went to eat at katz deli, which is famous and was fabulous. afterward, we got off at the wrong subway stop, but we ended up getting off at the right stop for times square so it was a major plus. my sister and i walked around and went in all the shops, basically just looking around and getting a feel of the city. on our way back from times square, we were walking and we ran into shannon, chelsea, ashlee, and kahlin and it was so weird. they were there to be in the cheerleading part of the macy's parade. we were all very surprised. when we got back to the hotel, i rested and then got ready for our night out. we caught a cab to times square and were on our way to see 42nd street. it was amazing, everything about it was awesome. afterward, we grabbed dinner at a fresh mex restaurant and headed home.

wednesday
shopping in soho all day. enough said. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. and then it was off to chinatown for the most amazing chinese food i've ever eaten.

thursday
we woke up really early to be ready in time for the macy's thanksgiving day parade. it was really good this year and the floats are unbelievably huge in real life. after the parade we walked around and shopped for awhile. for dinner we went to an amazing restaurant for turkey dinner, but i ended up getting fillet mignon. our $300 dinner was delicious. after dinner my dad, sister, and i went to see national treasure at the biggest movie theater i've ever seen. that's one thing i like about new york. everything is HUGE. i wonder if the boys there are the same way? anyway, the movie was great.

friday
we took a tour of the city all day on a bus. i thought it was quite boring, but i enjoyed the statue of liberty and the united nations building. it was a highly educational day.

saturday
more shopping. we shopping in macy's and 34th street for awhile and around 1 pm we hailed a cab and went on our way to tavern on the green. it is the most amazing/adorable restaurant ive ever been too. i felt like i was alice in her wonderland. that night we went to times square to do more shopping. around 8 we went back to the hotel and rested for about an hour. i packed my stuff a little bit, considering it was everywhere and around 9:30 we took the subway to chinatown for more amazing chinese food. the subway is an adventure, i will say. it's quite confusing. to all the true new yorkers out there: thank you for helping tourists like me or else i would be lost in the midst of the underground forever.

sunday
we woke up entirely too early and hauled our tired butts to the airport. the flight went by fast because i slept the whole time. i got home and sean came over. it was a wonderful day. i missed him so much.

so there's a day by day summary of my trip; sorry to flood your friend's page. i love all of you, muah! i'm off to cheer at a basketball game. <3
