So, it may seem silly, but I've slapped together some Jillian Michaels icons to keep me motivated. I just can't get over this woman. Her body is incredible and her workouts have, without a doubt, helped me lose much more weight than just doing my own exercise routine. I'm signed up to her mailing list too, so it's motivating to get a daily e-mail with a new tip from her.
Plus, I just figured that with almost 80 pounds lost, I no longer need to have Fat Stewie eating ice cream as my default icon, heh. Though, looking at it still makes me laugh.
i thought work was gonna be super busy this afternoon so i left the new J.M. book at home, but of course it slowed down considerably and I'm wishing i had it with me. oh well.
i forgot to mention this earlier- on Sunday, I'm doing a quick sprinting race with my mom. i posted about this before, but the race got postponed because my mom and sister were conveniently out of town the day we had it scheduled for. anywho, it's back on this Sunday. my sister's not gonna do it because my mom's boyfriend's brother-in-law is joining us and she doesn't want to get beat by an older dude, haha. i guess he's in his mid 50s and has been a runner a good portion of his life, so he'll probably kick our asses. i have been working on sprints lately though, so i think my chances are still pretty good. and the area we're running on is just a flat trail behind my mom's house. another advantage. we'll see how it goes.
