king kong is orgasmic.
ive been obsessed with the movie since i was a wee lil kaiju addict.
alas i saw it with the same crowd who 'got to disc 4 of final fantasy 7'
yeah its funny if you get it. advent children.. woo.
tonight started off shitty.
then scott suggested that we venture, and i heard there was a Squid concert.
We step out of my house and there is a big brown ups truck. the kind i used to know the sound of when i was little. inside a little man is fumbling through packages, and gets spooked when he sees me standing there waiting with wide eyes. he hands me my new geforce 6600gt. but i cant have it until xmas.
first we stop at circle k, for scotts beverage needs, and buy a demo off two black guys, one from st louis the other from oakland. they are traveling state to state selling demo's for five bucks a pop. i support underground music and im a fan of good rap/hip-hop so scott buys it. we go to fry's, i get a slot fan, then we go to gimps. we pick up gimp and napalm and waste an hour watching boondocks and arrested development, then away to the squid show!
i figure we have time to grab something to eat, they are supposed to go on at 12.15 so that means 12.30. its 12.10 when we get to taco bell. the new chipotle burrito sucks, by the way,
we get to the Clubhouse around 12.20 and i see tony and dave lugging equipment inside. perfect timing. i snag tony away and get four demo's, one for each of us. then we venture inside to watch the show.
my review - marvelous. the squid never cese to amaze.
we go to gimps after wards for a victory bowl and talk about dave chapelle and the dark crusade who ruined him, temporarily.
scott drops me off at around 3, i tell him ill see him online, more then likely on world of warcraft. I get online and everyone is offline, i IM the prettiest lady on my list on a whim, [jayme] and were still talking.
ahh fate is a bastard i dont believe in. so this must be synchronicity. another link to the chain, proving that life does revolve around us.
