Sabrina's barium xray was this morning and she did surprisingly well. I may have cried a little, it was awful having to watch that and know she thought we were doing bad things to her :(
She got a new set of Little People, an ice skater and skiier, and a My Little Pony with really long hair for being so good. Ok, she got it before we went in but i needed a distraction for her! She earned it though.
They took an initial xray, then did the barium enema and took some more pictures. Then we had to wait to "see what her colon would do". A healthy colon would immediately try to empty itself and it took her more than an hour to do anything :/ then we waited longer and she didn't accomplish anything else so we just took the last pics.
They said it looked like she either has a deformed bowel or her not pooping has distended it a lot. She has several extra loops in her large intestine! So, tomorrow I should get some answers about what needs to be done from here after her doctor looks at them. I just hope we can get this worked out in a month!
In just random things I'm going to list because I don't care enough to actually write about but want to remember someday...
-Emily and I saw Eclipse twice while she was here and it was awesome. I love that kid, she is amazing.
-had to meet and hang out with step-cousin Anne marie, who is trying to hide the fact that she's 2 months pregnant. With twins. With a guy she's been dating for like 3 months. To make it even better, she says this is her 5th pregnancy; 4th since turning 18 in December. I really hope I understood her incorrectly, but I don't think I did. Also, she is a terrifying driver.
- the "mm mm mmmm" old man at Eclipse, haha! He was definitely team Edward.
- realizing my cousin Taylor is the spitting image of Harry Potter
-sabrina and my grandpa were too cute. Watching her pretend to varnish ( with water) the porch was priceless.
- Ilene was actually nice.
- the ride up Big A Mountain was not.fun. Motion sick like mad.
- the Rusty Fork is gross and they can't spell there. Tator toy, anyone?
