reaction to blackstone
i don't know how to say it any other way so i'll just say it now-
BLACKSTONE WAS FREAKING AWESOME
let me tell you why-
1) first and foremost, i asked Lauren to be my girlfriend and she said yes. i am so happy and i can't wait to see where this goes. she's an awesome girl and i'm a lucky guy
2) I think i became a lot closer to God this weekend too. the entire weekend was so moving, and i know that he was there with everyone in their hearts. I'm going to try to be more involved in the church and become a better example of a christian all of the time. this is my chance to break out and be separate
3) I got a lot out of this weekend musically too. i spent most of my free time either in my room playing guitar or out of my room playing guitar. Brent, David, and I formed a band, and although our name, close the window (don't ask), needs a little work i think it will be a positive experience, but we need a drummer, so if you or someone you know is good on the drums, please contact me and we'll talk about it.
That's blackstone. I was wondering if this retreat could possibly compare to last year's...it did, and more. i can't wait to see what next year has in store.
