Yeah I know....

My deepest and sincerest apologies for not updating sooner. I do realize that it has been over a month since my last post. Basically the combination of muchos papers, tests, and being sick I just haven't gotten around to it.

So what has been going on in the life of Lynn.....let's see.

Last weekend I went to Buffalo with my friends Cait(we went to her house) and Colleen. It was so awesome to get off campus and also see what life is like for other people away from campus. We went to Cait's cottage in Canada for a little while and chilled lakeside then headed to Niagara Falls. On the way we saw a black squirrel which was incredibly amusing. The mist was so intense that we looked like we had buckets of water dumped on our heads. The wet dog look is always gorgeous. It was really beautiful though, especially surrounded by the colors of autumn. We then explored Clifton Hill and tacky gift shops, always a good time. I saw this man climbing up a building and started freaking out until I realized he was mechanical. We then headed back to Buffalo for some "real" chicken wings. They were definitely amazing. Oh but here comes the best part of all (oh by the way can you tell I don't like campus food) we went to this place that serves REESE'S hot chocolate. So delicious you don't even understand. Its funny, this place was called Higher Grounds, on campus we have Common Ground, and of course in lovely Saratoga we have higher ground. Or at least I find it funny cause I can't keep them all straight. It was nice to spend a weekend much like I would at home just kind of hanging out, walking around the house, and taking a shower in my bare feet. Life's simple pleasures.

I am dancing with this group Radiance. Right now we are working on a lyrical dance to Norah Jones' Cold, Cold Heart and another to a song that slips my mind currently. I really enjoy it....it's not ballet which I miss terribly but the ballet group on campus, to be quite blunt, is rather slutty and un-ballet like.

Today I cleaned my room basically from floor to ceiling, I was scrubbing like it was my job. I was kind of pissed off, the other day my roommate rather than vacuuming simply rolled up our rug and put it in the corner of our room. Oh well, minor dilemmas.

My absentee ballot continues to sit next to me. I want to send it in yet I keep hoping that I will actually start to like the candidate I am voting for. The problem of American politics, in my personal opinion is the party system. I find people can be blind to the actual issues but very adamant about their party stance.

Well I must dine, more later.

Love and Hugs!

Lynn

P.S. We must plan a thanksgiving get together so that it actually happens. I need to see you girls! :)
