the crowd was a little too nuts. mike & i both got a little fucked up, and i'm pretty sure we're both sporting black eyes, I know i'm a lil swollen and red right now. It was awesome to see everyone(Dez before the show, evandro, jon lizanski...for some reason i Hate when people call him "mohawk jon" and i will more now that he doesnt have one, terry, etc.) And the venue, Terminal 5 is fucking HUGE.

I got a t shirt and the gold album on picture vinyl :D We didn't watch the first band, Grey Area that apparently has members from all these old punk & hardcore bands but nobody in our group was really dying to see them. Mike & I went on the balcony for Sick of it All. Not my favorite band but they put on a really good show. Their crowd was a bunch of silly bros who needed to be tough.

We went downstairs forthe souls and right before they went on Terry bulldozed us to the front in the middle of the crowd and i got seperated and couldnt see anyone and everyone was going nuts as to be expected but then i got knocked in the head really hard by a crowd surfer and sort of pinned against the person in front of me but someone, never will know who lifted me up so i would be ok. Once I found Mike it was ok. There were too many fat people crowd surfing and it was really annoying that we couldnt just enjoy the show without worrying about being kicked in the face. They did that really cute cover that I posted up there of hybrid moments that sounded like its supposed to be in a 50's prom. Like Mike said, its nice that they are to the point where they don't really have to impress anyone, so they are just playing to have fun and for the music and shit. If someone doesnt like them it doesnt matter anymore because they are huge anyway. They were just smiling and having so much fun and seemed so incredibly happy to be doing what they do. THAT was the best part.

Afterwards when we were hanging around outside the lead singer, Greg passed our group. Terry was very cool and just was like "great show man" and he was like "hey thanks" the rest of us are like "guuuuuuuh" and I said "i love you" not really that loud kind of as a joke not thinking he heard me and he turns around and very earnestly goes "i love you too!" hahaha it was really funny and kind awesome. The part about it I liked was that we were kind of away from the rest of the crowd but he was walking right over to where everyone was hanging out. I doubt he was staying to mingle but he was at least taking the time to aknowlege them and thank them for coming and stuff.

The way the crowd was(not having any real unity or respect for one another) really got to mike, I mean he's been to a million shows but for some reason this one really hit a nerve and he got really upset after the show. I hate to see him like that but hopefully he's having a good weekend with his family.

Anyway, crowd sucked. show was awesome.
