I stayed up til about 730am, then slept til 430pm.
Rae and I went to McCarren Park for the Pool Party screening of Wet Hot American summer.
Writer/Actor Michael Showalter
Actor Joe Lo Truglio
and
Hot Hot Hottie Paul Rudd
were all there and spoke before the movie.
Rae and I:
I look a little goofy, but she dyed her hair and looks gorgeous.
We got a bunch of good cheap food there and went out for japanese afterward. I love that girl :)
I may look up and post more pix of the event later. if i feel like doing the work looking for them.
Also, things taken from the L Magazine:
My horoscope:
Leo JULY 23-AUG 22
What if the dead didn't actually really die. I know that sounds crazy, but what if they just moved to a different neighborhood, like Hunt's Pointor East New York or someplace weird like that. And they'd just hang out in coffee shops reading old books, trying on each other's scarves and gloves (they're always cold), going about the business of forgetting the living. Sorry Leo, but it's possible. And sad.
and also, this:
"So, here's a counterintuitive bit of info for all you drink-counting frat champs: It turns out that alcoholics get drunk much faster than regular drinkers. The trick is that the brain becomes so accustomed to the the pleasure of alcohol that the first two dirnks trigger the kind of pleasant euphoria that normal people feel just around drinks three through six. And then the alkies just keep drinking, chasing that good feeling through drinks three to twenty."
...hmm
