It's PIE DAY, ya'll
I know I haven't said much lately. And that may change in a bit. But here's the skinny on something of relative importance...not only is it Pie day like every day between Thursday and Caturday..... but its NATIONAL PIE DAY. Do you think I would lie to you people? well, not about anything as sacred as pie.

so go out there and get you some today. I can recommend Random Order coffeehouse on Alberta. And often New Seasons will have some pie. If not sliced in the bakery case, you can always buy a whole one and share it. Share the pie love, what is wrong with you, anyway? Or, if you should have the misfortune of being in the hospital, I know that the Providence cafeteria always has pie. (Did you not know of the intrinsically healing powers of pie?!?!) Knowledge is power.
OK, eat some pie today. I'm serious.
ETA: New Seasons on Interstate has NO PIE today. They are apparently communists and you should boycott them. Random Order, however KNOWS that it is pie day and the purchase of one slice gives you a free entry into the raffle for a free pie. Their selection is pretty good for today: Apple, Apple Cranberry, Brandied Peach, Brandied peach with chocolate and ginger, mixed berry, chocolate cream, coconut cream. $4/slice and easily worth every bite. Dammit, what are you waiting for? This pie ain't gonna eat itself!
