well i think it is now safe to say that i put the smack on 99X's "best of view" contest. i won twice last week, once as me and once as garrett. thats 4 tickets. for free. 2 floor and 2 seats. i was listening today around 8:30am on the way to work and they said that they were going to be pulling for the grand prize before 9am. i thought i had missed it already. i look down at my phone and its ringing and says "private call". i answer and the voice on the other end was fat kid from the morning show on 99X. he told me that i was one of the finalists in the "best of view" contest. he told me if they pick me to act really excited and scream and all that jazz. he put me on hold. the hold music for 99X is 99X so i was listening to toucher, jimmy and leslie on my phone. they are talking about the "best of view" contest and all of a sudden they click me in and toucher starts talking to me. i was super stoked. i won the contest. i get to sit on a special platform they built for me tomorrow night on stage with weezer and foo fighters. how kick ass is that? very. garrett and i are in for sure. thats a good 18th birthday present i would say. the guy i talked to about winning said that i could prob'ly get one more person in with me. i.e. lesley. so hopefully the three of us will get to rock it with the weez and the foos.

[edit: alison will be joining us for this hellacious hootnanny. so garrett and i will sit on stage and alison and lesley will rock it on the floor. woo!]
