it's been a while since i have used this thing. i hope it still works. i don't know why i felt the need to update this thing. i'm sure no one reads it. and with good reason being as how i never update. i guess the doogie howser inside me got the best of me. that sounds kinda gay. but lets face it, we all have a little doogie howser inside us.

so i have started a new budget. this budget leaves me here at home on a sunday night to type this. i stayed home friday night too. i cleaned up the basement in preparation for my newest project, STEGOSAURUS, to practice. whats stegosaurus you ask? it is my side project from waving at strangers. it consists of james (of dance buffet), brian (formerly of waving at strangers), and kenzie (formerly a cogswell), and myself. i am playing drums. totally sweet. we have a couple songs written and a couple cover songs. fun fun. be on the lookout for a show or two sometime in the near future. at least i hope.

but anyways.. my budget. basically without going into all the logistics, i am gonna try to annihilate all my debt within 4 months. i think i can do it. at least i hope. ah, fuck that. i can do it for sure. call it a resolution if you will.

so last night i decided to go out with a bang before i really kick off ian campbell: budget guy. friday was my boys james' birthday, so we went out last night to celebrate. fun times were had in kennesaw, ga. we rounded up our posse and went to winstons for a little karaoke. we even ran into our old karaoke dj, big dog. this is not just a clever name. he is one of the biggest dudes i have ever met. super guy though. it was good to see him. i sang a very kick ass, and surprisingly sober, version of 'bad to the bone' by george thorogood. other various hits performed by some of the gang were 'take on me', 'keep on loving you', and 'i feel the earth move'. all in all it was just like the good ol days.

today i went to see king kong with my family. this movie was pretty good. a bit long for my taste but not bad. it had some sweet dinosaur scenes. and even though king kong wooped their asses, it was still totally kick ass. someone please tell peter jackson he can edit his movies after filming them. he doesn't have to use every single thing he shoots.

and there it is. a for real update. if you have made it this far in this entry you are a far better person than i. hopefully one tree hill will be back on soon.

oh yeah. michael j. fox will be on boston legal on tuesday. i'm stoked.

ok stick a fork in me.
