Knight of the Wind
You know, I was always under the impression the motto here was something similar to Vincit Qui Se Vincit. He who conquers, conquers himself (and also the only Latin words Sonic knows from his classes).
Look, we might be a fighting school, but even I've never left Eggy near death, as much as he'd love to do it to me. I never bothered him for being human either. That just ain't right. I can't say I completely know what's going on, but it seems a lot of you are assuming things a little too fast. And when I tell you you're going fast... just because we aren't human or turn human to aid us in a school that allows us the opportunity to experience being one, it doesn't mean we're nothing but cheap animals wearing the skins of others. Naval's right about that. Everyone here was created equal; it's only those who try to place themselves above others that cause problems. We aren't that type of school to get into that type of petty squabble, I know it. Alright yeah, we get into fights daily, but I gotta agree with the RAs here.
You guys remember the Aparoid War? When we beat the Aparoid Queen, we didn't argue about who should get the glory to punch him or if someone was only an animal. We were fighting for our very lives, and we knew if we failed, the entire city might have been completely obliterated. We all prayed as one. For that entire month, we channeled our energy into our survival and proved that perseverance can overcome everything. If there was something I could share with those who have joined us since then, it was the feeling right after the final battle, when we had all won. It wasn't a single person. It was a shared victory.
A few months ago I was teleported into I am still sorry about that library the world of Camelot, called forth by a magician who was looking for a champion to save her from the Black Knight. And there, there was no difference between the races. No one questioned it, and the Knights of the Round Table were all from different species, yet they all fought as one unit. Equal.
Here's the twist. That girl who had called me? She had foreseen that this world, as beautiful as it was, would one day fall. And she was ready to do everything to stop this including turning the entire realm into a nightmare. But like I told her, every world has its end, eventually. I know that's kinda sad, but...that's why we gotta live life to the fullest in the time we have. Make each day count. And fights like this? Pretty pointless. Human or not, you're all on equal grounds to me.
At least, that's what I figure.
