A Great Day!
Today was a great day. The past few days have been really gorgeous here. I can't really tell if it's the onset of autumn, or merely a spurt of awesome weather. I woke up, ate breakfast, got dressed, went to Arthouse to hand in a resume (where I was told that there were no positions open and if I wanted to volunteer I had to talk to someone else). Then I drove to Austin Books, picked up some new comics, ran by HEB to buy some sammich stuff and milk, then home to clean. I invited this dude over for dinner, which turned out okay I guess...wasn't the best meal I've ever made, but he pretended to like it, so kudos to him. Actually hanging out with him was really fun. We watched two movies (that he picked out!): The Corpse Bride and The Last Unicorn. I didn't think there was a guy out there (besides Zach) who would sit and watch TLU with me. Super mega bonus points. I guess this is dating? I don't know, I've never done it before, except with Greg O., and I was sort of unsure about that. It's nice though, I don't have to worry about anything. I can't tell if I even want it to go anywhere, but I guess I'm rambling. But, dang, I don't think I'm cut out to be a housewife; I can't cook or sew, but I guess I can clean. I did get to drink some good Hefeweiss (not Hefeweizen?) beer tonight. Tomorrow I think I'll sleep and study for the GRE, maybe hang out with the boy again, and Amanda and Jillian!
