(no subject)
A morning in the life of Lindsey:
I wake up at noon, trudge out to the kitchen to get some coffee... Mom mentions that she's taken the Mapmaker picture I made her for Christmas to be matted. I'm all, oh, okay, that's cool. Then she adds in an ever so innocent tone, 'Oh, we also entered it in the con's art show for you.'
'WHAT?!'
'Just thought you would like to know.'
'WHAT?!'
'I didn't know what to put down for it's title, though...'
'Uh... It was called the Mapmaker.'
'Ooooh. Yeah. That's much better than the name we thought of!'
'Ah... wait.. I mean... WHAT?!'
After five more minutes of that, I let it go. It was her present, so technically she owns the picture and can do as she pleases with it. It's a good thing she mentioned it to me before Convergence, otherwise I would have seen it there and we would have proooobably had a big, thrown-down-the-gloves arguement match in the middle of the friggin' dealer's room. c_C And I don't like arguing. Especially surrounded by people pretending to be Jedi and anime characters.
Oh well. That's life, no? Oh! And I got Scaleface! XD Yay for lizard girls.
