I'm listening to the financial news...
why this is, I'm not sure, since I'm not exactly an investor...perhaps I am just being lazy...
Yesterday was one of the best days I've had in a very long time. Sam and I went to the zoo. I hadn't been in a very long time, and I had forgotten how much I liked it...it was still notsonice to see some of the animals in their tiny little enclosures....
I don't know how long we were there, but I suppose it was a while...afterword we went back to his apartment and watched an old Buster Keaton movie [that had really good music]...it was the funniest thing....I've never really had the opportunity to enjoy silent film before...I shall look into it more in the future...
Kissing had never been so passionate...
o, and I met his friend Charlotte...she had great glasses and was everything I think I want to be when I get to be her age...that is, middle aged...and her shop was incredible...I've only ever been in there once before, I've never spent much time on Antique Row...although it is right there, where I hang around frequently...
I also met Scott, one of his [Sam's] best friends...I think I said maybe a dozen words the entire time he was there...I was just a tad shy...heh...he seemed like a very nice guy though...but then, I don't suppose Sam would be good friends with anyone who wasn't a nice guy...I just hope his [Sam's] friends are willing to give me a chance...I know I'm not really the norm in terms of people they befriend...
anyway.
I didn't want to leave...
heh...he kept turning on the montage from the beginning of Rocky III, and I kept laughing at him...but I decided to be charitable and not leave right then and there...heheh....I would like to see that series...if only so I can see how trashy it really is...heh...good times...
I just got this flash of when I was 10 or so and my family drove to the middle of nowhere and we walked to this beach...and there were these elephant rocks...it's one of the most picturesque places I've ever been...we walked along looking for poppy jasper [jasper as in the stone]...I don't know where this came from...
hmm...I was going to go to Oasis tonight with Danielle, but I think I'm just going to spend some time with my mother...I've been away a lot...she has commented that she hasn't seen me in days...she's always asleep when I get home...maybe I'll go tomorrow...
yes...I am hungry...I have a craving for Life cereal...
