The bubble tea explosion

When I mentioned on twitter that I had been to Bubbleology in Soho I was contacted by the Chaboba letting me know that they had opened in Camden, and what self respecting goth girl can resist a day trip out to Camden?

Their twitter presence is fun and flirty and made me feel like they really cared that I was going to come and try out their bubble tea. I tweeted back playfully all day that I was on my way up, and when I got there, after many hours bowing down to Mistress Camden, I was greeted with warm smiles, hellos and thanks for supporting them.

Their lychee was much stronger than Bubbleology, which is what I like. I feel that lychee should have a bit of a kick to it and I decided to have the rainbow jelly, which is one thing that Bubbleology doesn't have yet. I love rainbow jelly. It is playful and spunky.

Chaboba isn't better or worse than Bubbleology, it is on a par with it, they just offer different things. If you want more selection head to Camden and Chaboba, if you just want a quick bubble tea fix and you're in Soho then use Bubbleology. I will be frequenting both on my summer trips into the city.

Pictures taken by me. Thanks to the guys at Chaboba for permission to take them. Chaboba can be found in the East Lock the far end of Camden, near the markets and stable. Head up the ramp just after the lock bridge and turn right up the little stairs.
