my cousin is just now getting around to hearing this mixtape for the very first time, and i figured... there might be some of you who havent heard this yet... so this is a mash up of adele's "19" album by mick boogie, with an allude to hip hop from... well... 1988...
next, these guys i grew up with listening to in high school... all their classics from 1989-1999... located by clicking on the pic below:
and then we've got 1/4th of the slaughterhouse crew. if we were to play the "which one of these does not fit" game, first name to come to mind is joe budden. after him, royce, crooked i, joell ortiz are each equals lyrically and stylistically... here's a mixtape from joell ortiz.
finally, i've been jockin the jimmy fallon show, simply for the guest appearances that rock with the roots, and more notably, just to see black thought murder everyone on their own song. here's a collection of the greatest joints from the show so far...
oh yea... a friend of a friend's blog (which has a couple of dilla tributes to check out!!!) has the latest single from erykah badu out... peep it...
