im practically brain dead from a full day of studying, but i'd be remiss if i didnt hit yall up with a bunch of cuts...
first, we got lupe fiasco's latest mixtape, enemy of the state. pretty short, with him rhyming over what im guessing to be some of his favorite beats out right now. apparently, he's out to prove that he's still one of the hottest out. i think that means we're the beneficaries of some wonderful stuff.
second, here's a tribute to 20 years of de la soul in the game from a variety of MCs, titled LE DA SOUL.
and finally, i've got a bunch of rips for yall from a series of live performances: jay-z and a keys at the AMAs, mos def and talib kweli performing "history", wale and black thought's rendition of "pretty girls", and finally, a rip of all the performances from the vh1 hip hop honors tribute to def jam... good lookin out niki!
