"Amy--Amelia--Pond!" he shouted over the roar of the street. "Do you even know where the station is to Akihabara?!"
The Doctor finally managed to catch up to the ginger, grabbing onto her arm to pull her back. Admittedly, the Doctor didn't have a proper grasp on Tokyo, Japan. It had 23 wards and all were insanely busy, even midday when most were at work. They were trying to get from the Tokyo Tower to the station to catch the train to Akihabara, the electronic district of Tokyo. There was a certain part he needed for a certain something... that, well, Amy would find out about that later.
Not to mention that because of that certain something, they had to leave that ice planet she loved early. He figured that stopping in Akihabara would not only get him the part he needed, but Amy enjoyed fashion so they could stop at Shibuya, and of course there was an ice rink in Shibuya. He wasn't going to tell her that part. It was a surprise.
"You need to be more careful!" he scolded, making a wide gesture. "You never know when one of those machines will start talking to you and pop! Transforming soda machines. Honestly, Amy, have you never seen those movies?"
He was being over dramatic and playful, which meant she really wasn't in trouble.
