7:55 that is.
I'm in Alabama.
I spent christmas eve and morning in the Memphis airport. I slept on some chairs. I stood in a line for 6 hours (well, sat most of it actually). I was one of like 300 people doing this same thing. They lost my bags and I have worn the same thing for 3 days (ewww...).
But I'm relaxed :)
And I got my luggage back this afternoon.
I didn't have any time to buy any christmas presents, but my family has been understanding. I've done my christmas shopping/drawing since i got here, and I'm waiting to open my presents till I'm done.
Overall I'm a happy camper, especially after the tasty thai meal I just prepared (mmmm....). I feel like I'm at the alamo sometimes with this whole vegan in alabama thing.
Hope everyone is loving their holidays and spending them with good people. I'm watching my little niece Emma sit in front of my brother's 40" plasma screen and watch some crazy kids show. It's highly entertaining. And it's not the "abandon the child to the t.v. thing". Pat and Kristy are sitting on both sides of her watching. And it's this show that exposes babies to like 9 different languages accompanied by simple images. It's a little disturbing how well it works actually. She sits down instantly when it comes on and is transfixed by it. I'm a little frightened at how good they are at knowing what will get a child's attention.
Anyway... she's a cutie, and I'll try to post some pictures.
Going to try to catch upon journals now.
