I just got finished watching the Hours at home. It was an amazingly beautiful movie about making choices of death or life- not on a survival basis but rather on a sense of finding an inner peace...happiness.
Today, I roamed the streets of Midtown Sacramento again, where I found all of these very secret and delicious places like cafes, boutiques, and other things that you kind of just randomly come across when you just sort of roam a city.
After that, I failed in an attempt to find a gift for my older brother.
In which, I was left with two hours of waiting time before meeting up with Go to watch the Incredibles. I found myself at the mall again plotting on another round of roaming when I bump into Leon and Manual~ who were both also roaming. We decided to just look at records and take a little break (meaning find a bar to drink some beer). It was a very refreshing experience. Sometimes with friendships, you don't realize how much you miss a person until you see them again. I speak on this topic since its been awhile since I last saw Leon. The times at the bar were filled with a good silence, and Leon put it right when he said that it really was a time of honesty~ a time to take in each others presence. It was interesting because the night before, Leon had just bumped into Go at a Gas Station. It's funny how the world manuevers people and thier relationships.
The internet lied to us, and Go and I ended up missing the movie because the times were different. Go and I ended up at a bar where they served mixed beer drinks which was really interesting. While we really wanted to see the film, we were actually better off just spending the time in discussion, celebrating what life brings us - the happiness and the challenges- we accept the whole lot.
