we will own this town by the end of tonight
I spent the night at Katy's last night (Friday). Well, Christina, Christa, Craig, Katy, Adam, Roxanne and I went over to the Maverick Mix thing at 7. Christina said there was going to be free food and music there so I agreed. But when we got there all there was was music and water and orange juice. GAY. Anyway the first band that played was eh... less than alright. They didn't impress me, mainly because all they did for the first 20 minutes was nirvana covers. But the second band, this side up, was really good. The lead singer did this weird thing where he like leaned over to sing into the mic and it was cute. And a couple of their songs were "Christian" songs. I dunno what's up with that and why they would have only SOME Christian songs, and not all. After that we hit up Wendy's and ate and chilled. The french fries that they gave me were the really crispy hard ones and they were pointy and after I ate them they were inside me, poking my esophagus. It hurt really bad so I didn't feel good after that. But every one else was being silly and playing with the crackers and it was funny - I lauged on the inside. Then we went over to Katy's and watched Drop Dead Gorgeous. Christina and Christa left afterwards, but Roxanne and I just ended up staying the night there. I didn't want to go home because there was no one at my house and I didn't want to spend the night all alone.
Today we sat around all day today and watched a CSI dvd and then tonight we went to the show at the duck pond. The bands were all pretty good. Except First Year French. I don't really like them much, even though Ryan and Gabe are pretty damn hot. Brett just creeps me out and makes me sick. Harry (Superman!!) had this huge zit or something on his forehead and I felt sorry for him cause he sang with his back to the audience the WHOLE time. Guess he was embarassed or whatever. Um, so then The Kirby. Wow. Micheal. Wow. Yes. Dance moves like whoa. Set Aflame was good too. I just found out tonight that my old friend, Josh Melton is in that band. It was funny cause he was trying to introduce me to the other guys in his band but I already knew all of them. Oh yeah and this other band: by the end of tonight; OH MAN! There music was like an orgasmic experience! I wish they didn't live in Houston because I think that they are just awesome and I want to go to all of their shows. And then there was Manatee. Awesome of course. Haha I was standing right in front of Aaron during their set and he kept leaning into me an turning around and falling back on me, making me catch him and push him back up. I hope he didn't mind getting molested from behind by some girl with freezing hands. haha(you think i'm kidding about the molestation?)! IT WAS SO COLD!!! And I had on flip flops and a really thin sweater because I didn't get to change before the show.
