weird dream
I had this dream where Travis and I bought this HUGE house. It was so big, we didn't really explore the whole thing, we just started moving our friends in right away. So it started with all our college friends, and then church friends started getting in on it. We were assigning everyone different places to sleep, but we were all bunched together and it was getting a bit ridiculous. Not everyone had beds and people were starting to sleep on ledges (like a choir room terrace kind of thing).
So then we took a few people and started exploring more of the house. There were areas of the basement that were pretty rundown and falling apart, but we were just taking inventory and it was no big deal. At one point there was a random cleaning person that I didn't know about and I thought that was cool, that someone was keeping track of this huge place.
And then our group ended up at this little outbuilding which was next to another bigger outbuilding. They looked like a forgotten main entrance kind of thing. And we were hanging out in the little building, talking about our options and whatever. Then I walked over and looked at the bigger building by myself, just looking in the windows.
There was a big open area inside and it looked like some terraces with fountains to splash in and great community areas for eating together, whatever. It was a pretty big space, very nice. So I got excited about that and called everyone over to get a closer look.
But when we went inside, it was different. There were lots of people, but they were frozen in suspended animation or something. And there was a lot of food just sitting out rotting. And we're exploring this space, when suddenly someone from our group yells for help! And there is this car there and some kids (from the frozen crew) are stuck inside, except these kids are moving and need rescuing.
We help these kids, and suddenly all these frozen people are moving. And they all used to live in the big house and they want it back. And they must have been stuck for a long time, because these people are talking WAR about this house. And then we needed to defend it.
And there was some weird stuff about gold dust and/or copper dust. One was more "modern" than the other and that's a way we could win.. yep.
