this hasn't happened yet, but all the elements are adding up and, what the hell, i guess i could define each of them.
THIS IS MY BRAIN:
1. i realise now that the 2d fighter that will have to be ignored (at least temporarily) is in actuality kof 12, my top pick of the three that i planned on buying. funny how things turn out. anyways, i have a bit of extra money floating around.
2. wrath of god and a few other core staples will not end up in the set, and one of the big reasons i planned on dropping cash on this was for staples. yes, a month later i'll end up with 15 bad ass cards that are pretty much staples, but that may not be good enough. even damnation looks to get ignored in this set, and though that was a card i was looking forward to possibly the most...
3. they have decided to power up red. like crazy. red has always been my color, no matter how much i try to run away from it. it doesn't help that white has become so lovable to me now too, because they go together so well. and shit, i just like the way those 2 colors look next to each other. but anyways, red is getting ball lightning and motherfucking lightning bolt back.
4. i have come to the realization that magic is stupid and i don't even play it that much. but the same could be said about my other money-eating hobbies, and i enjoy this. so whatever, this is no worse than video games and as long as i can stick with getting one or the other at a time, i can still save money.
5. this is even worse than december to january as far as holiday gift dropping goes for me. i mean, i love buying gifts but jesus christ there were like 5 birthdays in a row with 4th of july right in the middle. bullshit. but i guess this is summer anyways, and i hope to be too involved with school in the fall to have anywhere near as much free time, so blowing all my money and saving once fall hits will probably work out well. anyways, this is unrelated and does not belong in this list. i'm only leaving it in because i hate the number five. it's no where near as cute as 4, is easy to deal with in mathmatics but isn't even uhh...even, and the only small upside is that it reminds me of tmnt michelangelo. i do not know why it reminds me of tmnt michelangelo.
6. ok, six is only slightly better than the worst of all numbers, five, so i can use it to go back to the list. one of the downfalls of getting this box is that i have no gaurantee of getting all the cards i want from it, and it's being released this friday. i could get it pretty easily i think, but then i have to go to work soon after, which sucks. and the health inspector will be coming in, so i couldn't just half ass everything. and great, with that in mind, i can't get it covered, because the health inspector will be there. eh, it would be an incredibly dumb reason to take the day off anyhow. with that being said, this puts a damper on the impulsive aspect of me getting it, and also makes me want to buy it online if i'm already cool with waiting, and that could save me quite a bit of money. but at that point, the fun is taken out of the purchase. when i buy toys, i have to get them right then, and drop 25 extra bucks to do so. from a real store, where i have to bribe one of my friends to take me to it for transportation aspects, conversation, and just plain flaunting my new awesome worthless object.
so this is how it stands. when i think of lightning bolt and ball lightning, and the fun of buying a box again...opening all those packs....and the fact that most if not all of the cards will be mono color, unlike the horror that was the last block, AND that i probably won't have to go for a large amount of staples again for ever, i'm pretty excited and willing to do it. BUT! it might not be a good enough set to where i couldn't buy what i want separate and get much better stuff. also, the whole 100 dollars on cards makes me sad. anyways, i'm going to go look at a complete spoiler to help me figure this out for sure.
SEXY ALERT- i know how many ladies are attracted to me, and if they weren't already, this amazing sexy post just put them over the edge. anyways, the pandface and i realized that bestfriendship would be the best thing ever, so that's what we're doing. i mean, we've been broken up for months, but things were all shakified for a bit, and we both want to just be cool dudes playing tennis and music at this point. you should thank her for putting such a prime piece back out on the market. anyways ladies, if you want me, i'll be here at my moms house.
