Stupid people shouldn't be allowed to drive
I went dancing tonight in Ann Arbor. This is nothing new. I rode my motorcycle. Again, nothing new.
However, when I came out from dancing I found my bike lying on its side. Someone had hit it while parking. I know this because someone called me over and told me what happened, giving me the license plate number from memory.
Coming out to see your motorcycle lying on its side is kind of like coming out to find someone smashed out the windows in your car. It's not pleasant.
The damage appears to be minimal. Thankfully a friend of mine lives in Ann Arbor so I have a place to crash. Two blocks away is my old place of business where they happen to also have a fully stocked garage. I should be able to do what I need, and possibly buy parts at the motorcycle shop nearby. It shouldn't take me more than two hours to fix everything that lets me get home without trouble. I'll fix the other stuff later.
