that's it...i'm done
today i submitted my last paper of my last class...and i'm sad. i have now earned my masters degree, and i'm thrilled about that, but i sort of love being in school a whole lot, and now i'm not anymore.
teaching is close to being in school, and it's an extraordinary experience, but it's a different kind of learning.
after i sent that paper to my teacher i asked him about an organization his sister works for. it's called best buddies, and essentially, like the Friends Program or Big Brothers/Big Sisters, it pairs individuals with those who need good friends, "to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities" as the website says.
so, i'm looking for new work, and i noticed that new hampshire does not have a chapter. anyone want to improve some lives with me? check out www.bestbuddies.org
