Keep English for English Majors.

It will never cease to amaze me how many stupid things I read/hear when people workshop my writing.  A lot of the input is great, and well appreciated.
But.
There are always those morons (and more often than not, it's the morons that can't write) that tell you that you have multiple grammatical errors and/or structural issues.  For example:
"The essay has a number of grammatical and punctuational errors, as well as inconsistencies with verb tense, but most of these are fairly minor."
That's just not true.  I may skirt around a topic, or not give you enough visuals, but I sure as hell do not, I repeat, do NOT allow myself to switch tenses.  I am the Tense-Nazi.  I will call you out when you do it, therefore do not allow myself to do so.  When I catch myself in the act, I am ashamed and embarrassed and immediately press backspace.
The tense only switches where it is clearly out of chronological order (so clearly, in fact, that it's spaced apart and separated with ***).  And if it didn't switch, it'd be awkward as hell.  And I don't have punctuation issues, sir.
You're dumb.

(And if you dummies are in the major, get the hell OUT, you annoy me.)
