sometimes, the idea--just the idea--of theatre kids annoys me.
how they always talk about plays,
especially ones they're/we're studying at the moment in class.
how they write plays instead of books under 'favorite books' on facebook.
how they are so flamboyant.
how they they secretly think they are better than everyone else in the department
or in their show.
how they all want to be stars,
but don't all want to put in the effort.
not all of them.
but a fair amount of them are pretentious
and obnoxious
and selfish
sometimes.
i try not to get involved in things like that,
and so far so good.
and when i'm with them, i like them.
except for when they do what's mentioned above.
but when someone says 'theatre kid'
that's often what i think of.
the rest of the time it's well-dressed awesomeness that doesn't give a damn.
