[20] Multi fandom icons for the final round of 20inspirations the theme of which was 'About Me'. I can't believe this is the last round, I've loved this comm and it has really pushed me to challenge myself when making icons and I think it's improved my skills as a maker, so thanks to all those who've been a part of running it :)

[01-05]
01. Peeta Mellark [The Hunger Games] - Whilst I love Katniss I can see a lot of myself in Peeta. When I fall for someone I tend to spend years fawning over them from afar, much like Peeta, too shy and unsure to make a move but never really moving on. I also tend to use my brains & knowledge of human nature to win fights and manipulate people when necessary, so he seems a character I have a fair bit in common with.
02. Elena Gilbert [The Vampire Diaries] - Elena has been through a lot, and life is always throwing more obstacles in her way, but as long as she has her friends and family around her she always manages to bounce back. She's also fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect those she cares about.
03. Rose Tyler [Doctor Who] - What I relate to most about Rose is her sense of humour and her huge heart. She laughs loud, falls hard and has a deep set courage, and I hope that when adventure comes knocking at my door I grab it with both hands like she did.
04. Arya Stark [A Song of Ice and Fire] I'm basing this on book!Arya as I've not watched GoT so I'm not sure if her character in the show is true to the book or not. Arya was a child and then something happened and her whole life got turned upside down and growing up was forced on her, but rather than give in she fights to get back to what she loves and never gives up. Her experiences have made her stronger and more determined, something which I can definitely relate to. I also relate to her fiery rage, and I was a total tomboy as a kid.
05.Hermione Granger [Harry Potter] - Hermione is my favourite Harry Potter character, and I think a lot of that is down to how easily I relate to her. I've always loved learning and put it on a massive pedestal of importance growing up. I love to get lost in education and find knowledge an incredibly liberating thing. I can also be a little bit of a know it all in the sense that if someone is quoting something wrong or passing on bad information I just have to correct them on it as it bugs me. I also share her fire and if I'd been able to attack a certain ex with a flock of birds I totally would have done haha.
my biggest five fandoms of the last decade and what made me love them

01. Buffy The Vampire Slayer - This was my first massive fandom, and whilst I didn't make icons back then it played a huge role in my teenage self's life, and Buffy/Angel were my first OTP, and I loved that the main characters were pretty much social outcasts for the most part rather than the popular kids, and I loved how it could make me laugh my head of one second and bawl my eyes out the next <3
02. Lord Of The Rings - This fandom got me into online fandom through fiction, which then led to me getting involved in graphic making. Beautiful trilogy of books & films. I adore the hobbits, and I love the idea of the smallest person making the biggest difference to the world. Middle Earth is a world you can loose yourself in for hours, and I love to do so.
03. Doctor Who - I think everyone knows I love Doctor Who. I've enjoyed all Nu Who but Rose/10 have been my favourite team Tardis. Watching them travel together gave me so many ~feelings, and when it came to an end I legit sobbed my heart out. They were like two little kids having this massive adventure together where they were just falling in love and having lots of fun, oh and saving the world, a lot.
04. Harry Potter - I got into Harry Potter a little late (about 7 years ago) but I adore everything about the books. They provide such a beautiful escape from reality into this would of magic and wonder, and yet they contain such strong moral messages and a lot can be taken from them. Hogwarts is a place I'll always feel at home.
05. Being Human - This show is a more recent addition, and I wasn't sure which recent show to include, but after some consideration it had to be this one. I found myself so captivated by it due to the interesting characters, the relationship dynamics and the fabulous mix of drama and humour. Watching these three struggle to emerge themselves in humanity was fascinating, and moving. I loved every relationship in this series Annie/George, George/Mitchell and Annie/Mitchell George/Nina were both beautiful ships. I haven't watched S4 yet because I need some time to let these guys go before embracing the new. For me they are a very hard act to follow.
I have a tendency to look for the good in people and often say someone is just 'misunderstood' or try to find their redeeming feature, so this leads me to the next category:
