[20] Doctor/Rose for the current challenge at 20inspirations (+4 alts)
I loved this round so much. I adored nearly all the songs, and they fitted my claim really well. The hardest part was picking 5 songs to use at the end, because my Doctor/Rose playlist holds 180+ songs, so I just went with what happened lol. These are predominantly Rose/10 but there is some Rose/9, Rose/10.2 and Rose/11 in there too, because I didn't want to leave them out haha. As for explainations, I've mainly just quoted the part of the lyrics that inspired me. If you're curious about anything feel free to ask :)

She travels with him, and manages to cross universes to see him again, but she can never really have him for her own.
03. "It's been at least another year and still I haven't got the chance to say, always rolling off the tongue, never said but nearly sung about a million ways" All the unsaid words between these two.
04. "I might not be the right one, it might not be the right time, but there's something about us I've got to do, some kind of secret I will share with you" This makes me think of 9 and Rose when they first meet. 9 is still in a fairly dark place, but he seems drawn to her and there is an instant bond between them that leads to him whisking her away in his magic machine.

17.Gold Dust-Tori Amos "How did it go so fast you'll say as we are looking back, and then we'll understand, we held gold dust in our hands" This moment had such a sense of foreboding, and I always imagine both of them will look back to this point and wish they'd known what was coming.
18. VAST-One More Day "Oh my love, I'd give anything for one more day with you" This was all I was thinking during this episode, it seemed to be the first time it was clear Eleven still thought of Rose.
19. Across The Universe Of Time-Hayley Westenra "There's a star calling my name, it's echo is true and the song is not the same. Take my hand and lead me away, bring me back to you, in your arms I'm going to stay". This whole song is Dr/Rose in pretty much all its incarnations to me tbh, so it took me an age to decide what to icon for it. I wanted a 10.2 icon in here, so I went for this line in the end.
20.Never Saw Blue--Hayley Westenra"No one else has ever shown me how to see the world the way I see it now, oh I, I never saw a blue like that before. It feels like now, it feels always, and it feels like coming home. I never saw a blue like that before"
