P R E V I E W:
The theme this round was complex, which I found terrifying tbh, but that's the point of being part of the community-I joined to challenge myself haha. As you've probably noticed, I don't really make complex icons...at all. I might turn the odd one out once in a blue moon, but mainly I go for simple compositions with lots of colour, so these are pretty different from what I usually post. I almost dropped my claim at one point because I was getting bogged down trying to make what I consider to be complex icons, but then I realised if this was going to happen it was very much going to have to be my version of complex, and I'm glad I stuck with it for the experience if nothing else, plus I am really pleased with a couple :) They're are a bit of a mish mash of styles, but I figured it I was making more complex icons I should try my hand at a few different techniques and see how I found them (icons mainly use image blocking & blending & texture practice...because me+textures=disaster a lot of the time.) Please let me know which ones you feel work best, for future reference! I've been looking at them all for so long I've lost the ability to tell and am incredibly close to backing out and not posting them again haha. Truth be told I want to get them posted now before too many people submit their awesome entries and I chicken out hahaha XD
