I just taught myself how to use photoshop so I could make an icon. This icon. I'm not saying, of course, that I actually know how to use photoshop now, just that 25 minutes ago I'd had absolutely no experience with it at all, and now I have a sexy icon. Aren't you proud of me?
The Halloween party was a success, as I was sure it would be. We snacked, we drank, we made merry. Nobody was hospitalized (at least not by the time I'd left) and no police were called. A surprising number of people were dressed up, and dressed up nicely, at that. There was a costume contest, which I was not expecting, and I won, which I was expecting even less. Red was the official color of Halloween 2005, and House M.D. was the official costume. Many thanks to durden_kent, povos, and zevhonith for making it happen.
glitch was kind enough to take pictures, (many of which turned out surprisingly well, considering the lighting conditions) Including an absolutely gorgeous pic of zevhonith fire-dancing, which was a surprising, lovely, and terrifying turn of events.
I woke up earlier than I wanted to this morning, but I feel rather rested and refreshed. I think a costume party with most of my favorite people in attendance was just what House ordered.
