Much ado about nothing.
Talked to my Mama and Al (My pseudo-step-brother nee sister [I'll draw you a chart of my family tree just as soon as I figure it all out]) on Tuesday night, and after much ado, figuring out when all of our busy schedules might coincide, we decided that tonight Al would make dinner, we'd all build a bonfire, and we'd spend an evening hanging out together, along with whoever else was around. Apparently my Mama was drunker than I'd realized, (or her memory is deteriorating more quickly than I'd thought, which I'd prefer not to consider as an option, genetics being what they are, and such) because when I called her this morning to confirm, she was quite baffled. She's still happy about the idea, and we're still on, though she's not certain that Al will remember any better than she did, so it may end up being a far different evening than I had planned upon, but I'm sure it'll be interesting, if nothing else.
