Laziness can ruin even the best laid plans.
Every now and again Joel and I have a serious talk. Trust me, they don't get this deep this often. We were just talking about how we need to change things in our lives, how we need to start making a change if we want to have our place by the time we start school.
When we have this talk we usually take about three 'steps' in the right direction, and then something puts us on hold again. It was in our promises to keep moving, to try to make much needed progress that Joel says "You wanna work out tomorrow?"
"Sure," I say, and that's that. We're going to start working out. I have a set of gym style weights, the curved bench press bar and a whole pile of weights from 1lb to 25lbs. So we're going to be working with that. I also have a treadmill (rebok, ya heard), and some Tae-bo tapes. We figure until we can get moving, at least we can get moving.
I can't help but worry this is going to be another tally for the "We're lazy; it's so much easier to lay around" team. But we'll just have to see.
