(no subject)
Let's see.... California was amazing!! I posted pics on facebook if anyone is interested. We did Napa Valley one day and went to 4 wine tastings and a tour, and I got to see Ashley which was awesome. I had some amazing wine out there and we learned about how wine was made. It was really cool. Then the next day we drove south and went to Disneyland for NYE. We got free passes and went on 4 of the major rides. I was so tired from getting up early and driving all day, even though Matt did most of it. It was so cool to be in Disneyland though. We had dinner and celebrated midnight in Chicago time bc we were all so tired. Everyone was in bed by midnight because they had to get up at 4 am to go to the parade. I got to sleep in though bc I was only going to the game. The game was cool, even though Illinois got killed. It was cool just being at the Rose Bowl. That night we just got take out and watched CNN. The next day we drove back up north. We took the Pacific Coastal Highway and it was so beautiful!! We drove through Malibu and Santa Monica. We probably passed lots of famous people's houses. We stopped for lunch in Santa Barbara, which is a cute little town. That night we hung out and played board games. The next day we went home, which was really sad. Especially considering my flight got cancelled and I had to go to the San Francisco airport to get on a flight that turned out to be delayed 3 hours. It blew big time. I finally got home at about 4 am, even though my flight was supposed to leave at 1:50 pm!
In other news, I am looking for a new job. My job keeps cutting back hours more and more and I feel like they will just start laying off people soon. It's hard to find a job though bc I will be taking 4 classes this semester plus doing observations so I need a flexible schedule.
In other news, i fricking HATE insurance. Long story short, I just got new insurance which I am paying for out of pocket. I went to Osco to get a prescription filled and the pharmacist tells me that my insurance company doesn't pay for that particular medicine and asks if I can take another one... I was like, ummm, I have to talk to my doctor. GOD. I fucking hate insurance companies!! They aren't doctors, and they are doing everything they can to get rich. Fuck them. It just pisses me off bc I am a perfect example of what is wrong with health care today. I pay $130/month for coverage, and yet I don't get it when I need it. so in order to get the medicine I need, I have to pay an additional $92/month out of pocket . I'm going to cancel it. It will be cheaper if I just pay for my prescriptions out of pocket anyway.

My parents might move to Woodstock. That kinda makes me sad bc I just like the house that I grew up in.
