How have I not replied to this already?! (I'm ex-patriating, that's how, but no excuse!) Thank you so much for this feedback. The fact that you not only enjoyed the chapter but completely got everything I was trying to do gives me so much hope as a writer. You write with great subtlety, so you know how that can be a constant well...should I come right out and say it? Should I let the imagery speak for itself? Or am I actually beating people to death with this point?, etc. I love Bruce/Selina and being part of the fandom, but I'm definitely a person who uses fic to improve her writing for future possible original works.
