soft covers of hard songs
So for some reason I had a strong desire to listen to such things as Nina Gordon's cover of "Straight Outta Compton", and included in this genre is a cover of "Ice Ice Baby" by a girl with a beautiful voice who I had previously assumed to be Nina Gordon. But, now I can't find the mp3 (bit rot!?) and it's driving me crazy. Google's never heard of it and I've scoured my storage drive for dozens upon dozens of minutes to no avail. I think I may have evangelized about it at some point to you guys, maybe. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone have any other songs like this?
