I'm SO HAPPY right now.
Big Brother is back on.
My last summer class was todayyyyy, hoorayyyyy!!!!
New Futurama in like an hour.
It's raining RIDICULOUSLY in Denton.
And that's just the stuff that's happening right NOW.
Richard and I built Phoenix a pretty epic cage. It's 40x75" and it's elevated 28.5" off the ground. We had a huge argument over the construction of it, because we were both being totally controlling about who had the better idea, and I made kind of a scene in Home Depot that I WOULD have felt bad for if there were any employees or even customers around. That place is fucking giant, and NOBODY works there. Ugh. Anyway. We compromised on construction, and it was still super complicated. But it was really fun to build, and we bonded a little over our goofy solutions to stupid problems. We got Phoenix better bedding so it stinks less, and we built him some hidey holes out of paper bags and empty boxes. And then we realized that the cage is freaking enormous, and he has no one to play with.
SO, I looked up guinea pig rescues in the DFW area and found Guinea Pig Rustlers, located in Double Oak. I sent in an adoption application (and checked my e-mail obsessively for three hours straight subsequently). We got approved this afternoon, YAYY!!! So we're going to take Phoenix out there next Saturday for kind of a speed dating for guinea pig bromance. I'm excited. He's gonna get a buddy. That's just what I need is another ball of cuteness to gush about in my blog.
I really like this new GSN show Baggage. People open bags that have their issues inside, and then a person decides if they want to date them. It's kind of a silly concept... But Jerry Springer hosts it, so it's awesome.
I had such a fun day the other day. I went over to Ambro's to do laundry, and Stephanie came with me. We went out to lunch at J Sushi, ran home in the rain, baked cookies, had girly squealy time over boys and puppies, then met Sean and Richard at El Guapo's for lunch. I took Amber and Stephanie back to Amber's, then went out to Dallas with Richard and Sean to see my last play for theatre class. But it was terrible, so we skipped out after half an hour and went and got ice cream. We walked aimlessly around looking for a Paciugo that DIDN'T EXIST, and serendipitously found Pinkberry, which is INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS and very much better than Paciugo.mjmfjjfvfjmfjfjfjfjmfj
