Plane tickets - paid for mine, used points for my sister's. Got us both bumped up to first class on the flights back.
Emergency, last-minute stay for two outside of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida all for <$1000.
Bad parts:
The flight out is completely booked. I mean, it'll be sardine city.
I'm flying out of ManchVegas.
I'm stuck in Detroit for 2 hours on the flight out.
I'm stuck in Detroit for 1 hour on the flight back.
I couldn't get a flight back until Monday, so I'm missing a day of work.
